Exhibition - Infinitely Alive
Happening now
At the Saulcy University Library, artist Brigitte Chartreux sets embroidered postcards and photographs in dialogue. Figures and flowers from days gone by come back to life under needle and thread, embroidered onto original photo-postcards. A delicate exhibition, available in audio description and enlivened by the artist's presence.
Embroidery on photographs
For several years, Brigitte Chartreux has been embroidering on original photographs, particularly photo-postcards, bringing together two of her main areas of research: figures and flowers from the past, infinitely alive.
An exhibition accessible to all
The exhibition is offered with audio description, made possible thanks to the Association des Auxiliaires des Aveugles de Moselle. The artist is present on Tuesday 29 September from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a social gathering at 4 p.m.
