Reactivated Memory: A Talk Around the Wrong Gallery
In 4 days
At the Centre Pompidou-Metz, two voices come together around memory: Madeleine Planeix-Crocker, curator and head of performance and live-arts programming at Lafayette Anticipations, and Edem Allado, physician-researcher and artist. Their exchange is part of the HOMERE research-creation project, a work-in-progress of which is shown in the Wrong Gallery within the exhibition "Endless Sunday." Together they approach memory as a subject of inquiry, at the crossroads of research, creation and the archive. How do experiences settle in the body, change over time, resurface through gestures and traces? From forgetting to reactivation, the conversation opens up to other artists and scientists to ask what memory does to the body, and what the body does to memory.
